The 9th World Biennial of Student Photography 2023 will be officially opened on Wednesday, December 20. at 12:00 in the Gallery of the Academy of Arts, Novi Sad, Bul. Mihajla Pupina 20.
Dragana Milošević, provincial secretary for culture, public information and relations with religious communities, and dean of the Academy of Arts, will speak at the opening. Professor Siniša Bokan. On that occasion, prizes and commendations will be presented to the participants of the Biennale. At the opening, a saxophone quartet made up of students of the music department of the Academy of Arts will perform under the mentorship of docent Christian Boroš.
A record number of applications for the Biennale competition (almost 500) from 44 countries on five continents resulted in a large exhibition where over 230 works by 37 authors will be presented, while other works will be shown in a video presentation (about 100 selected student projects).
This year’s BIennale will be completed by the visit of professor Ivan Hrkaš and students from the Academy of Fine Arts from Sarajevo (BiH). Professor Hrkaš will hold a four-day workshop for photography students at the Novi Sad Academy of Arts, and at the same time, a joint photography project between Sarajevo and Novi Sad students will be launched.

9. Svetski bijenale studentske fotografije 2023. biće svečano otvoreno u sredu 20.12. u 12h u Galeriji Akademije umetnosti Novi Sad, Bul. Mihajla Pupina 20.
Na otvaranju će govoriti Dragana Milošević, pokrajinski sekretar za kulturu, javno informisanje i odnose sa verskim zajednicama, i dekan Akademije umetnosti red. profesor Siniša Bokan. Tom prilikom biće uručene nagrade i pohvale učesnicima Bijenala. Na otvaranju će nastupiti kvartet saksofona koji čine studenti muzičkog departmana Akademije umetnosti pod mentorstvom docenta Kristijana Boroša.
Rekordni broj prijava na konkurs Bijenala (skoro 500) iz 44 zemlje sa pet kontinenata, rezultirao je velikom izložbom na kojoj će biti predstavljeno preko 230 radova od 37 autora, dok će ostali radovi biti prikazani u video prezentaciji (oko 100 odabranih studentskih projekata).
Ovogodišnje BIjenale upotpuniće i poseta profesora Ivana Hrkaša i studenata s Akademije likovnih umjetnosti iz Sarajeva (BiH). Profesor Hrkaš održaće četvorodnevnu radionicu studentima fotografije na Akademiji umetnosti Novi Sad, a ujedno će se pokrenuti i zajednički fotografski projekat između sarajevskih i novosadskih studenata.
